Kowboy
Kowboy is a play on the representation of me as an American and Khmer person. Hence, Kowboy. Using iconography from both cultures to create this humoristic project. I used American recycled denim to create a paneled poncho that lays out flat as a crocodile. In terms of styling, I mixed slit khaki pants with an oversized cotton shirt with a hidden placket I created.

Using 3 garments I had previously made I decided to combine them together to create a look that reflected my dual identity as an American and Khmer. Kowboy stands for Khmer cowboy.
