Between

This collection was created during the first few months of the pandemic out of school, Between is an ongoing exploration of the space in-between two identities; my relationship with being both American and Khmer. The idea of not quite fitting into either space has become a subject in my work. For the past three months, I have had time to research, create, and think about that relationship. The visual impact of a trip to Cambodia has taken time to process; revisiting photos and writings from that time has helped shape this collection. This is the project that made me change my discipline. All design, patterning, and editing by me for all pieces.
