Curved Pocket Jacket
This jacket was created with tailoring in mind. This jacket is custom measured for a friend of mine, working with him and hearing design input was a good way to exercise my design communication skills. Being able to display my own design identity while simultaneously considering my friend’s input as well. I challenged myself to create a welt flap pocket with a single panel to create a slim pocket silhouette with little fuss and one curved swooping motion that seamlessly falls onto the body.

Draped and experiment with a way to create a flap pocket that had no flap seams and that was integrated into the front panel. This piece took 3 toiles to complete. The block itself was for a friend of mine who had commissioned me for a jacket tailored to his body.
